| Obituary | March 2020 | Visconto Funeral Home, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennyslvania, USA; "Julia Haselbarth Obituary Julia M. (nee O'Brien) March 4, 2020 - age 97 years young. Loving wife of the late Walter Haselbarth. Survived & sadly missed by her children, Susan Jones (Jonathan), Richard (Linda), Rita, Sharon McLaverty (Paul), and John/Haze (Eileen). Cherished by her 14 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Beloved sister of Joe O' Brien and the late John O'Brien. Julia was known by many as Jewel. Being the Matriarch to her family, she instilled in us all that Family is Everything and to take care of each other. Julia lived most of her life in the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia attending Resurrection parish. She spent the past 6 years at the Philadelphia Protestant Home, where she met many new friends. Her favorite past time was to conquer her 5000 piece jigsaw puzzles that were hung proudly on display for all to see. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, feeding the fish in the pond & playing with the puppies or simply just spending time with family and friends. You could find her every night watching and playing along with her favorite TV shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Her brilliant smile will be forever etched in our hearts. Relatives, friends, residents and staff of Philadelphia Protestant Home are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, March 10th from 9:00 - 10:00 am VISCONTO FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2031 Vista Street (Vista & Large Streets) (Ample parking & handicap accessibility in rear of building) followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 Resurrection of Our Lord Church 2000 Shelmire Avenue.
