It stated he was an invalid and had had epilepsy for 15 years. The Ingersoll Chronicle newspaper in their Thursday, March 7, 1907 issue stated: "In Ingersoll, Wednesday, March 6th, 1907, John Carroll O'Callaghan, son of James O'Callaghan, age 21 years, 6 months. The funeral will take place from the residence of his parents, Bell Street, on Friday at 8:45 am and proceed to the Church of the Sacred Heart and proceed to the Roman Catholic cemetery."; Witness=James P.
