Janet, a devoted mother and Catholic, loved life events. She enjoyed celebrating with her family at weddings, religious ceremonies, parties and holidays. She had a fun, festive spirit and was very proud of her Irish heritage. She truly enjoyed conversations with family and friends regarding their lives, politics and current affairs. Beloved wife of the late Donnell for 49 years, dear mother of Ellen, Kathleen Hickey (Patrick), Donnell, Jr. (Susan), Maureen Biskup (Rob), Patty, Thomas (Kathleen), Michael, Kevin (Jacqueline), Megan DeTurris (Vincent), Matthew (Leila) and the late Michael Patrick. Cherished Bama of Robert John, Jennifer, Lauren and Michael Joneja, Bridget, Sean and Gillian Hickey, Robbie, Allison and Andrew Biskup, Elly, Brendan and Connor De Turris and Donnell III (Alexandra), James (Rebecca), Brian, Amie, Ryan, Eimile, Nolan, Miriam and Constantine O'Callaghan and the late Erin Hickey. Sister of Carol Greene (the late Laurence) and the late Dorothy Dumsa (the late Alfred), Elaine Joliat (the late Thomas), Raymond "Bud" O'Donnell (Barbara) and Michael O'Donnell (the late Sharon). Family will receive friends Thursday, 3 - 8 p.m. at A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave. (between 13-14 Mile), 248-549-0500.
