Her residence was Indian Point, Burlington, Nelson Township, Halton County, Ontario. She had lived in Hamilton for 2 weeks (possibly in hospital) and had been in Ontario all her life. She was female, Canadian, Irish, widowed and was born in Waterloo County, Ont. on Sept. 15, 1876, aged 69 years, 2 months and 18 days. She was retired for past 6 months and had worked for 42 years until March, 1945 as a envelope (elevator?) operator. Her husband was Robert Peacock, father, Joseph McCarthy and mother, Margaret Gibbons both born in Canada. Information was provided in Hamilton on December 4, 1945 by Mrs. Verna McGee, daughter, of 40 Inchbury Street, Hamilton. Burial to take place on Dec. 6 in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Medical Certificate states that she died on December 3, 1945 and she was last seen by the doctor on that day. Main cause of death was Myocarditis and secondary was nephritis. No surgery or autopsy.4
