Beloved husband of Leona Lessard, and dear father of Bernard, Mrs. J. Ricottone (Rita), Mrs. L. Urban (Joanne) and Mrs. D.Vice (Cidire), all of Hamilton. Surviving also are four grandchildren, two sisters Mrs. E. Bernier (Loretta) and Veronica Davern of Hamilton. Predeceased by one brother William Davern. The late Mr. Davern was a retired employee of the Brewer's Warehousing Company, where he worked for 43 years. He was a council member of the Knights of Columbus Council, 1454 Hamilton. He was also a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society. Resting at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 16 Cannon Street East. Funeral Monday morning at 9:30 to St. John's Church for Requiem Mass at 10 o'clock. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary Sunday afternoon at 4:30. Contributions to St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Knights of Columbia will recite the Rosary Sunday evening at 8:15."7 |

She was Past President of the Catholic Women's League, a member of the Choir, Legion of Mary, and took part in many other Church Functions. Resting at the PX Dermody Funeral Home, 7 East Avenue South, on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Sherman Ave. N at Barton, on Tuesday, February 22 at 10a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Parish Prayers, Monday at 7:30 p.m. Donations to the works and missions of Father Vincent Morgan, Camel Heights, 1720 Sherwood Forest Cres.,Mississauga, Ontario L5K 1R1, would be appreciated by the family."5 |
