Birthplace in her church marriage record is listed as Hamilton. The 1901 Census gives the birthdate as 8th of October 1872 and her death registration states she was born 8th February 1872. No birth or baptismal record has been found. Have not found Annie's birth or baptismal records. Her death registration states she was born 08 February 1872 in Hamilton but the 1901 Census gives the date 08 October 1872. It is likely that the February date is more accurate since the information was provided by a family member.3,1,4,5

In 1923, in the Hamilton City Directory and also in Annie's mother's obituary in 1924, Annie is listed as living at this address. The directory lists her as living with her children Charles, Irene, Loretto, and William. Annie Minogue was the aunt of Mary Byrne who married Michael Davern and then was the great aunt of Veronica Davern who died at 135 Sherman Ave. in Feb. 2000.30,31 
Note1923 In the Hamilton City Directory, it appears that Annie is listed as living with 2 of her daughters, and 3 males. The male names were Charles, William and Edward W. Charles and William were known sons, the identity of Edward W. is not clear, as he does not appear in other records with her.32 
Death28 December 1942 135 Sherman Ave North, Hamilton, Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada; Death Registration states: Reg. #040749, living at 135 Sherman Ave North, (across the street from St. Ann's Catholic Church), Hamilton, Annie Rourke, female, Canadian, Irish, widow, born February 8, 1872, aged 70 years, 10 months, 20 days, housewife. Father was Matthew Monogue, born Canada, and Anna Carter, born England. Information given by William Rourke, same address, son. Buried in St. Peter's Cemetery, London, Ontario on December 30, 1942. Died of Auricular fibrillation due to chronic myocarditis, died on Dec. 28, 1942, was followed by Doctor S. H. O'Brien from August 27th.18,33

"This morning, the funeral of Mrs. Annie Rourke, widow of Edward Rourke, was held at 7:30 o'clock from her home, 135 Sherman Avenue North, to St. Ann's Church, where high mass of requiem was chanted by Rt. Rev. Mgr. J. W. Englert. The pallbeares were: Michael Davern, Austin Jones, Walter Long, Frank Kelly and Edmond Bernier. Burial will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery, London, Ont."

March 25, 1877 is the birthdate given on her death record and also her marriage license application - this does not seem correct as her parents had a child born in 1876, 7 months later, named Ellen. Also, I searched the Ballycallan baptismal records for 1878 and 1879 and there were no records for baptisms for another child of Patrick Manogue and Mary Dunphy in those years.
2. In her marriage record, she states she was born 25 March 1874. There was a child of Patrick and Mary born on March 22, 1873, named Bridget. Could this be Catherine with a first or second name of Bridget?
3. It appears that the month and day may be correct, but what is the correct year. There is also a child recorded, named James, born to Patrick and Mary Minogue, in November of 1874, so again this year does not seem correct for Catherine.
4. There was a child named Catherine born in 1869 - had she died or is this the birthdate of Catherine who married Kyran Ryan? However, that child was reportedly not born in March.2,3,1

Ryan died on February 17, 1903 and was buried on February 20, 1903, the doctor was Dr. Fleming and cause of death was pneumonia. He was 37 years of age. The deed for the grave was in the name of Michael Ryan. Kyran was 37 years old and born in Ireland, he was an engineer and lived at 830 N. Judson Street. Burial will be in Holy Cross on Friday between 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 hours. The charge is to be sent to Mrs. Kate Ryan of the same address. Cash due before or day of funeral is $75.
Casket is an oak finished in the show room, 6 ft., satin lining with 6 silver handles and a cross, case made of pine. There will be a hearse with 5 coaches, will be dressed in a black suit and embalmed and a #12 blanket wil be used instead of a robe, draping - yes, shaving - yes, chairs - doz., candelabra - 2. He will be dressed on Thursday between 3 and 4. The plate inscription is to say: Kyran J. Ryan, Died Feb. 17 - 03, aged 37 years. Grave is a single grave. Mass at St. Francis Church at 10am. Deathbefore 1871 It appears that she died in childhood as she is not listed on the 1871 or 1881 Censuses with her parents. It is likely that she died in Newfoundland as I have searched the Quebec records through 1871 for a burial.; Witness=Mathew Minogue, Witness=Ann Carter2,3,4
