Burial to be on January 8, in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hamilton and funeral director was James Dwyer, Hamilton. Medical Certificate: Died on January 5th, 1948 and the doctor provided the following information for the Coroners Investigation as he did not attend to her. Cause of death was due to pulmonary infarcts due to multiple pulmonary emboli associated with extensive double hydrothorax and almost complete collapse of both lungs. All of this and other findings due to recent right heart failure due to chronic myocarditis and general arteriosclerosis and severe hypothyroidism. Sudden death occured on the surgical table and an autopsy was performed. Sudden death from natural causes following introduction of brochoscope on the operating table without any evidence of negligence on the part of the attending Physicians or others concerned.; Witness=Austin Pennant Jones14 |
