| Death | 17 February 1903 | Funeral Home records states that Kyran J. Ryan died on February 17, 1903 and was buried on February 20, 1903, the doctor was Dr. Fleming and cause of death was pneumonia. He was 37 years of age. The deed for the grave was in the name of Michael Ryan. Kyran was 37 years old and born in Ireland, he was an engineer and lived at 830 N. Judson Street. Burial will be in Holy Cross on Friday between 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 hours. The charge is to be sent to Mrs. Kate Ryan of the same address. Cash due before or day of funeral is $75. Casket is an oak finished in the show room, 6 ft., satin lining with 6 silver handles and a cross, case made of pine. There will be a hearse with 5 coaches, will be dressed in a black suit and embalmed and a #12 blanket wil be used instead of a robe, draping - yes, shaving - yes, chairs - doz., candelabra - 2. He will be dressed on Thursday between 3 and 4. The plate inscription is to say: Kyran J. Ryan, Died Feb. 17 - 03, aged 37 years. Grave is a single grave. Mass at St. Francis Church at 10am.
