Mr. White earned his bachelor's degree in Social Work from Drexel University in Philadelphia and following a lengthy career in the restaurant business, he earned his master's degree in Social Work from Salem State College. He was employed as an licensed independent clinical social worker for many years most recently for Bayview Associates in Wareham. A Porsche and U2 enthusiast, he loved winning at poker, traveling to warm climates, and his adopted home town of Rochester. His family includes his companion, Elizabeth Martin; 2 brothers, Dr. Walter P. White and his wife, Vivian of Wetumpka, Alabama and Charles G. White and his wife, Patricia of Sewell of New Jersey; a sister, Juliana T. White of Philadelphia and 3 nieces. Calling hours are omitted. His Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady Of The Assumption Church Wednesday morning at 9:00. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Rochester. Please omit flowers.
