Passed peacefully away at the Pallative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre, Saturday December 7, 2013 surrounded by her children Regina (Coombs) St. Croix at the age of 83 yrs old. Predeceased by her husband Martin St. Croix, her parents Robert & Bridget White Coombs & two brothers Kevin & Anthony Coombs, also sister-in-law Kathleen nee Kelly Coombs. Leaving to mourn her daughter Theresa (Robert-Bob) Duval, grandson Steven, Ottawa, Ontario. Sheila (Wayne) Spurell & grandchildren Elizabeth (Jay) & granddaughter Bella, St. John's. Son Leo (Eileen), grand-daughters Shianne & Shania, Portugal Cove South. Grandsons Wayne (Andrea), great grand daughters Brianne, Sofia & Jonna, Thomas (Alexandra). Also leaving to mourn her nephew Tony Coombs (Sharon). Two special nieces Philomenia son Gerard, Kathleen, son Dan, daughter Melissa. A large circle of nieces, nephews from the St. Croix side of family. Also special friends Ronnie & Donna Ryan, Willie & Clara St. Croix, Elaine, Marilyn, and Kathleen Sutton and Marie. Gloria. Would also like to say thank you to all the Nurses at the Pallative Care Unit, Miller Centre, Dr. Thomas McGarry at Trepassey. Friends at the McGarry Complex. Remains resting at Faheys Funeral Home, Trepassey, visitation on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 1:00-9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Holy Rosary Cemetary, Portugal Cove South in the Family Plot.
