Family

William Oliver Taylor b. 14 Jan 1893, d. 17 Oct 1957
Marriage1941 Boston, Massachusetts, United States; William Taylor was from Boston and they reportedly had no children.; Principal=William Oliver Taylor4
BirthAugust 1876 St. Mary's Bay, Placentia & St. Mary's District, Newfoundland, Canada; The date of Margaret's birth is conflictual. A baptism occurred on 10 August 1876 for Margaret Ann St. Croix, daughter of Benjamin and Sarah St. Croix. However, there is a citizenship record, that Margaret completed in 1925 that states she was born August 6, 1880. There are no baptismal records in 1880 for a Margaret St. Croix. August 6th would be about right for a baptism on the 10th, so why is there a 4 year difference in these dates? She married in 1941 to a man born in 1893 - if she was born in 1876, she would have been 17 years older than him. The 1950 census indicates a birthdate of 1880 and I cannot find any Censuses from 1910- 1940 for her.
Baptism10 August 1876 Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, St. Mary's Bay, Placentia & St. Mary's District, Newfoundland, Canada; Baptismal Record lists godparents as John St. Croix and Elizabeth St. Croix. The priest was Father Stephen O'Driscoll.1
(Witness) Baptism4 November 1899 Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Placentia, Placentia & St. Mary's District, Newfoundland, Canada; "Sarah Walsh born 3 Nov. 1899 in Placentia of Patrick Walsh and Mary St. Croix, baptized 4 Nov. 1899. Sponsors William Walsh and Maggie St. Croix." It also states that she was married in Holy Family Church, Hamilton, Ont., 2 April 1932.; Principal=Sarah Marie Walsh2
(Witness) BurialOctober 1904 St. Mary's Bay, Newfoundland, Canada; Principal=Sarah Bishop3
(Witness) BurialApril 1915 St. Mary's Bay, Newfoundland, Canada; Principal=Benjamin St. Croix3
Married Name1941 Taylor4
