(Witness) Court Case

7 October 1873

St. John's, Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland, Canada; There was a court case put before the Supreme Court by William St. Croix, plaintiff, for repayment of $400 (paper states this was equal to 100 pounds) for goods sold and delivered to Robert Tobin. There were several men named William St. Croix but because it states that this William was from St. Mary's Bay and a planter, I am including the information here. No other identifying information was given for William.
No judgement was found in the papers, only the filing of the complaint.; Principal=William P. St. Croix¹
