(Witness) Death25 June 1989 Oshawa, Durham County, Ontario, Canada; Although for many years the family believed that Neil died of a heart attack, new information from his stepdaughter, Karen, appears that this was not the case. Karen tells this of the events of the night of his death - According to Faye, Neil's wife, and her friends, they had been out to a dance and later went to a friend’s home to continue the party. Apparently there was a little dog that kept worrying around Neil and that nobody could understand why. He went outside for a cigarette and when he came, he went to the bathroom. The dog kept whining and scratching at the door. When he came out of the bathroom, the dog still would not leave him alone. When he came back into the living room he dropped to the floor and died. The coroner’s report was a brain aneurysm rather than an MI. They thought that the little dog sensed something was wrong with Neil.
