She leaves her husband of 45 years, Donald G. Marshall; a daughter, Debra A. O’Connell of Millbury; two sons, John P. Marshall of Paxton and James M. Marshall of Bristol, R.I.; three grandchildren, Ashley, Ally and Peyton Marshall, all of Paxton; four brothers, John, Hugh and Brendan Rolston, all of Port Glasgow, Scotland and Patrick Rolston of Ayr, Scotland; four sisters, Marjorie Brown of Springfield, Mo., Bridget Marshall of Titusville, Fla., Rosaland Bowen of Seattle, Wash. and Ann Walker of Slidell, La.; nieces and nephews. A sister, Selena Rolston, predeceased her.

She was born in Port Glasgow, Scotland, daughter of Sean and Marjorie (McLaughlin) Rolston, and came to Worcester in 1959. She lived in Paxton for 30 years, before moving to Douglas in 1999.

She graduated from St. John’s High School in Port Glasgow, and studied nursing practices in Worcester.

She was a nursing assistant in maternity at the Memorial Campus of the UMass-Memorial Medical Center for the past 15 years. She retired November 11. Previously, she was on the nursing staff at the Holden Hospital for five years. She had also worked for the Visiting Nurses Association.

She was a member of St. Anne Church in Manchaug.

Mrs. Marshall enjoyed reading, traveling and gardening. Her foremost hobby was spending time with her grandchildren.

Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, were scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 30, from the funeral home with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Anne Church, 29 Main St., in the Manchaug section of Sutton. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester."1

b. December 8th, 1937

Beloved wife of George James and cherished mother of Mary Jennifer (Dave Smith), Susan Elizabeth, Kathleen Anne (Mike Dvernechuk), John Andrew (Liz Bucholtz), and Gregory Mark (Anne Fitton) died peacefully on August 29th, 2016. Dearest grandmother of Corinna, Adam, Drew, Mark, Nicholas, Stephanie, Brett, and Holly and proud great grandmother of Lincoln and Kingston, she is survived by her loving brother Iain (Lillian). Sheila was dedicated in her wisdom and character to the living memory of parents John Coventry and Mary Allan) whose grace she bestowed to all family members.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are greatly appreciated.2

CROIX. Mr. Roustan filed for divorce against his wife. Mrs. Alice Roustan was sentenced on February 8th last by the court to one month in prison for adultery. This condemnation sufficiently justifies the merits of Mr. Roustan's request.
