Estate*29 July 1875 Straban Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, USA; Newspaper article states: "The undersigned, Executor of the will of Margaret Galbreath, deceased, offers at Private Sale the real estate of said decedent, situate in Straban township, Adams county, one mile and a half from Gettysburg, between the York turnpike and the Bonneauville road, adjoining lands of Daniel Lady, George Wolf and others, and containing 150 acres, more or less, improved with a one story Stone House, with back building attached, good Bank Barn, Spring House and Hog Pen. There is a good proportion of timber and a variety of fruit. The land is a good quality of granite, with numerous never-failing springs, nearly all the fields have running water. This is an excellent stock farm.
     Persons wishing to view the property will call on the tenant, Alfred F. Schriver, or on John Wertz, who will also five the terms. Frank Patterson, Executor."
