Know all men by these presents that I Francis McCamey and Catherine my wife, formerly Catherine Galbreath both of the County of Bedford and State of Tennessee...have this day sold and conveyed unto our Two sons, John Mccamey and Robert Mccamey of the same state and county aforesaid, their heirs and assigns forever without any recourse upon either of us for and in consideration of a valuable amount to us in hand paid John and Robert Mckamey, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, that we, the said Francis and Catherine Mckemy of the first part hath this day bargained, Sold alined, Conveyed and set over unto said John and Robert...one certain Tract of Land Lying and being in the county and State aforesaid and on the Waters of Big Flat Creek being that quantity of Land Which was willed and bequeathed by William Galbreath to his daughter Catherine Galbreath now Catherine Mckemy which said Tract of Land containing Two hundred and twenty acres by the same more or less when actually surveyed off agreeable to the Last Will and Testament of William Galbreath deceased and the said John and Robert MCKAMEY are to have and to Hold all and Singular the said Tract forever Piece and Parcel of land, with the handlements and appurtenances thereto belonging to the only Proper use benefit and behoof of them the said John and Robert their heirs forever without any responsibility upon us Whatever. White County, Tennessee, USA; "The State of Tennessee No. 852: To all these presents shall come greetings, Know ye that by vestra of part of warrant No. 1692 dated the 19th of February 1797 issued to David Ross by John Armstrong entry officer of the claims of the North Carolina Western lands and entered on the 29th day of August 1807 by No. 128 as an occupant claim there is granted by the said State of Tennessee unto Robert McKamy assigned of the said David Ross a certain tract or parcel containing two hundred acres lying in White County in the second district ninth range and second section on the Boiling Fork of Elk River beginning on the western boundary of said Section at a black oak running from thence with the same North one hundred seventy eight and nine tenth poles to a White Oak near a large pond thence west on along said pond one hundred and Seventy eight and nine tenths poles to the beginning Survey, September 10, 1807 with the hereditaments and appurtenances , to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Robert McKamy and his heirs forever. In witness whereof John Sevier, Governor of the State of Tennessee hath here unto set his hand and caused the great seal of the State to be officed at Knoxville on the twenty first day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine and of the Independence of the United States the thirty third.
Recorded on the Register Office of West Tennessee May 4th, 1809
Robert Mckamy is entitled to the within mentioned tract of land.
Note: Sold 100 acres of above to James Montgomery 1811.⁸
