Note*I've not seen proof of Elizabeth's maiden name although many trees have it as Galloway, and her father as Abraham Galloway Jr. This would make her husband a first cousin. The James Galloway family bible has the marriage of James Galloway and Elizabeth Galloway. However, the bible of George Galloway, James Galloway's father, is instructive. It has George marrying Susannah Galloway in the George/Susannah marriage record. Her maiden name was Pipken.1
