Great credit to Balkcom cousin the late Lola (Wells) McTaggart who researched the family ancestry extensively and could be called the Balkcom family historian. In the 1980s or so she shared her family tree with my brother Don Balkcom.

Don Balkcom researched the Balkcom and Franks families for more than 20 years.

Pat Balkcom researched the Franks family back to the 1600s and committed results to the genealogy database The Master Genealogist.
